About Us

The Mirage Trading Company opened its doors on January 15, 2005 with the vision of creating a space where local artists could display and sell their art and customers could enjoy "the best coffee in the Valley!"

Since that day, the variety and quality of art has tripled. The number of repeat customers has increased dramatically and the Mirage is known valley-wide as the best place to get a latte while visiting with friends and shopping for that perfect gift!

During the winter months there is always a cozy fire in the wood stove. The summer months are enjoyed on the front porch viewing the Sangre de Cristo mountain range while sipping coffee under the umbrella.

Bob can be found carving his sculptures out front almost every day. Sharon is usually busy managing the website and mailing off online purchases. Both Bob and Sharon are kept busy making coffee, rearranging and selling art and visiting with the customers.

The Mirage Trading Company is a welcome break for travelers and locals alike. It is truly an oasis in this high desert valley.
